The Products

One living system, three products.

This is the first leg of the platform, a concentrated foundation for living soil together with the line of products that grows from the same base, all of it made on Kauaʻi, between the Pacific and the land.

We do all the hard work of gathering the resources and delivering them in the most intelligent way we can… then we trust Nature to take it from there.

Why it is different

This is not a bottle of inputs.

Most soil products make the same trade: a standardized mix of minerals and biology, suspended in water, shipped to everyone, re-bought on a schedule. You pay to freight water, and you pay again next month.

The water was never the product. The foundation is a mineral-carbon-biology matrix, the minerals built into a carbon structure alongside the living community that frees them on demand, and the product is that matrix itself, not the water it can ride in. Dried to a shelf-stable pellet, it carries the same work without the weight, ready to move through any system a conventional fertilizer can.

You are not buying water, and you are not buying it again.

Installed once. Topped off, not replaced.

A founding charge builds the platform, a durable, high-exchange carbon matrix loaded with the minerals your soil is missing, and after that a light maintenance taper tops off only what actually leaves, the most leachable and exported elements, mostly potassium and then phosphorus. Everything else is held in the matrix and cycled by the living soil, so that input declines while yield holds, and that is both the design and the test.

Terra Preta Concentrate

The permanent soil installation

It is a concentrated foundation for living soil, laid into the ground once and built to mature in place.

Where most amendments feed a single season, Terra Preta Concentrate is made to establish lasting structure: a durable home for nutrients and water, a complete profile of the minerals the soil food web is built on, and a living community to put them to work.

It is designed around a simple principle drawn from the oldest fertile soils on Earth, that living soil is grown, not manufactured, and so the concentrate supplies the hard, durable part of that process and sets the conditions, while the soil's own life completes the rest over the seasons that follow.

Where it fits
It is the foundation layer, worked into the ground at the very start, beneath everything else.
Who it's for
It is made for growers rebuilding tired or depleted ground who would rather install fertility once than dose it every season.
Availability
It is in development and not yet for sale, and it will ship as a shelf-stable pellet once the production facility is online. Join the launch list →
The mechanism · the moat

How the minerals stay, and how the plant gets them.

There are only three ways to put minerals in soil. Proto Terra is built around the third.

01 · Soluble salts
Available, then gone
most fertilizer · sea-salt minerals
They are instantly available, but they leach straight through with the next rain, and at dose they burn, so in Kauaʻi's rainfall they are gone fast.
Leaches
02 · Inert rock dust
Held, but locked
basalt · volcanic dusts
They will not leach, but they are so insoluble that they release only over years to decades, and the plant cannot reach them on any useful timescale.
Out of reach
03 · Held at the edge of solubility
Held, and freed on demand
Proto Terra
The minerals are engineered into the carbon matrix to favor forms that resist water-leaching but release on biological demand, freed by root exudates, microbial acids, and the soil's own fungal networks, where and when the root zone calls.
Held · then freed

The distinction that makes this work is water solubility versus biological solubility, because the minerals are not water-soluble, so they do not leach, yet they remain biologically available, so the living rhizosphere can free them. It is the same way mycorrhizae and soil microbes reach the "locked" mineral phosphorus in healthy ground, and Proto Terra builds that mechanism into the foundation from day one.

For weathered tropical soil, this solves two problems at once, because soluble fertilizer loses twice here, where rain washes it out and free phosphate binds onto iron and aluminum oxides and locks away, which is the single biggest constraint on Hawaiian ground. Minerals held in the matrix resist both.

These minerals are held against the rain, held against fixation, and freed by life.

BioBoost Foliar

The active, in-season treatment

It is a concentrated biostimulant drawn from the same living base, the above-ground complement to the soil installation.

BioBoost works through the season rather than founding the soil. Applied to leaves and ground, it carries plant-ready minerals, growth signals, and the cues a plant uses to defend and feed itself.

Where the concentrate builds the foundation, BioBoost supports vigor, resilience, and the nutrient density of what comes off the field, the active layer working on top of a living base.

Where it fits
It is the in-season layer, applied through the growing cycle, on top of an established foundation.
Who it's for
It provides in-season support across a wide range of crops and growers.

CentImpede Additive

The spray-water optimizer

It is a naturally derived conditioner for the spray tank, for cleaner inputs and better performance.

CentImpede goes into the tank with what you are already spraying. It conditions hard water and helps treatments spread evenly and stay where they land, so a given application does more work.

It is naturally derived and organic-compatible, a hard-water conditioner built to work without ammonium sulfate and without synthetic acidifiers, so the tank gets a cleaner input doing the same job.

Where it fits
It is the tank layer, added to spray applications to improve how they perform.
Who it's for
It is for anyone spraying who wants better coverage and uptake from a cleaner, naturally derived input.

Proof · the honest version

Evidence, as it comes in.

Proto Terra is early, so rather than borrow numbers or imply results that do not exist yet, the work is run in the open and reported as it lands.

Open protocol

Field trials run on a written, published protocol with cooperating growers on Kauaʻi, and the method is documented before the results are, so that the comparison can be read and checked rather than merely claimed.

Reported as it lands

Results are posted as they come in, including the ones that are still inconclusive, with no cherry-picked plot and no single lucky season standing in for the whole record.

The test is the thesis

The claim is falsifiable on purpose, since maintenance input should fall while yield holds, and if input stays flat or climbs, the foundation thesis is wrong, and the trials are built to show exactly that.
